Berdasarkan petikan di atas, ulas  secara terperinci falsafah eksistensialisme yang dianuti Samuel Beckett.

Dalam naskah Godot, semua orang menunggu (termasuk audien) akan sosok yang 'dinamakan' Godot. Siapakah Godot? Siapakah yang tidak menunggu Godot? Mengapa watak tersebut tidak menanti Godot seperti orang lain?
